EMPTY CONTAINERS MANAGEMENT
We offer training courses, we disseminate informative material and we have built a net of storage centers (CAT, for its initials in spanish) to achieve a correct empty containers management:
-Together with Campo Limpio we opened a storage center in Catriló, La Pampa for producers and applicators.
- We installed primary storage centers in many other agricultural establishments.
We are certified with the sustainable soy standard 2BSvs and encourage our clients and contractors to work according to the Agricultural Labors Practices established by the 14130 IRAM standards.
We work along with the ReforesArg Foundation in the Ecological Restoration Program. Moreover, we collaborate with Siclo Rural collecting and recycling disused silo bags and using those profits to reforest native environments along with ReforesArg.
MEASURING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
We are part of the Argentinian Neutral Carbon Program which aims to promote the consolidation of sustainable brands and contribute to a more sustainable production.

Our commitment with agricultural best practices is one of our main pillars. That is why we support the correct management of pesticides empty containers according to the Argentinian Law 27.279/16.
We know that the use of phytosanitary products in the agricultural production is essential for protecting crops from pests, guaranteeing performance and quality. However, it is important to understand that a correct and careful manipulation of this empty containers is needed to avoid health and environmental damage.
Using personal protective equipment
When manipulating products, remember to use the following personal protective equipments.
Correctly washing containers
After emptying the drum there will be some product remaining in the internal walls. Following this steps is crucial to ensure that the containers are properly cleaned.
TRIPLE RINSE METHOD
Keep the drum inverted over the spraying tank for 30’’
Add clean water until you reach 1/4 of the drum´s capacity
Close the drum and shake it for 30’’
Vert the water in the spraying machine tank
Repeat these steps 3 times
RINSE BY PRESSURE
Keep the drum inverted over the spraying tank for 30’’.
Place the drum over the automatic washing device for 30’’. Open the water stream.
Pour the water in the spraying machine tank.
Rinsing must be done immediately after the drum is used
Take your empty containers to the nearest storage center (CAT) to be recycled and/or disposed.
Once cleaned, the containers can be delivered to one of our phytosanitary storage centers (CAT) were they will be categorized as type A. In counterpart, you will receive a certificate.
TRANSFER AND TEMPORARY STORAGE
For a better identification of the product do not take the tap and label off.
Disable the drum by puncturing its base.
Take the containers to the nearest storage center (CAT) .
If the rinsing procedure is done incorrectly, the storage center (CAT) personnel will classify the delivered container as type B.
TYPE A CONTAINERS:
Containers made of rigid plastic that CAN be washed using the TRIPLE RINSE or the RINSE BY PRESSURE procedure (IRAM Standard 12.069) must be delivered punctured at the base.
TYPE B CONTAINERS:
Containers that CANNOT be treated under the waste reduction process through TRIPLE RINSE or RINSE BY PRESSURE procedure and that will be destined for final disposal.

The storage center built with Campo Limpio is located at Route 5 Km 524, La Pampa, Argentina
Packages are received on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm.

One year since the day the product was acquired to return it to the storage center.

Both methods allow you not only to take full advantage of the content of the packages but also to reuse them to create new products such as posts, rods, pipes and many other items useful for society.
